　　七、語(yǔ)法講解：

　　過(guò)去進(jìn)行時(shí)表示過(guò)去某時(shí)正在發(fā)生的動(dòng)作或狀態(tài)。常見的時(shí)間狀語(yǔ)為this time yesterday、at 9:00 last night、this time last week、when I arrived等這類表示過(guò)去時(shí)間點(diǎn)的短語(yǔ)或句子。

　　例如：

　　We were having an exam this time last Friday. 上周五的這個(gè)時(shí)候我們正在考試。

　　My sister was riding her scooter at 5:00 yesterday afternoon. 我妹妹昨天下午5點(diǎn)在騎單腳滑行車。

　　When we arrived, the firemen were putting out the fire. 當(dāng)我們到達(dá)的時(shí)候，消防隊(duì)員們正在滅火。

　　過(guò)去進(jìn)行時(shí)的肯定句、否定句、一般疑問(wèn)句及其簡(jiǎn)短回答的形式列表如下：
