Abstract
English, as a foreign language, has been widely learned throughout China in the past thirty years or so. In the 21st century，English is becoming more and more important in the international communication due to the globalization. Both the teachers and the learners have tried a variety of strategies in order to achieve high proficiency of English. Language is a tool for communication and it can only realize its function when it is used in different realistic communicative contexts. In China, English can only be learned as a foreign language instead of a second language since there is no English language environment at all. Therefore, as English teacher need to create a language situation as true as possible, for encouraging the students communicate with each other in English. It is evident that the teacher plays a major role in the language classroom.

過(guò)去的三十年中，在中國(guó)英語(yǔ)作為一種外語(yǔ)受到廣泛的關(guān)注。進(jìn)入二十一世紀(jì)以來(lái)隨著經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化發(fā)展，英語(yǔ)在國(guó)際交流中的作用越來(lái)越重要。為了能更好地掌握這門語(yǔ)言，老師與學(xué)生都積極嘗試用各種方法學(xué)習(xí)。語(yǔ)言是交際工具，只有當(dāng)其處于某種真實(shí)的'語(yǔ)境中方可實(shí)現(xiàn)它的交際功能。因?yàn)橹袊?guó)沒有英語(yǔ)語(yǔ)言環(huán)境，所以英語(yǔ)只能被作為一種外語(yǔ)而非第二語(yǔ)言來(lái)學(xué)習(xí)，因此教師需為學(xué)生創(chuàng)造一個(gè)盡可能真實(shí)的語(yǔ)言環(huán)境供其交流。由此以來(lái)教師在語(yǔ)言教學(xué)中的作用顯得尤為重要。
