Our 11 -year -old seemed to understand， but our six -year -old took the restriction very hard. We discovered why she was so unusually upset when we heard her talking to her mother on the phone for the first time. As she said good bye， she tearfully exclaimed，′I 'll see you when i'm 12，mom!′

上周星期三下午，我去錢氏英語學(xué)英語。曾老師告訴我們，今天不在教室里上課，而是要到人民商場去上實踐課。大家聽了都很驚奇，也十分高興。
我們在曾老師的.帶領(lǐng)下，來到了人民商場。我們先來到了粗糧區(qū)，曾老師指著油問到：“What’s this？（這是什么？）”我們左思右想，也想不出“油”用英語怎樣說，曾老師見我們一副為難的樣子，告訴我們“油”用英語是“soy”，并且一遍一遍地教我們讀，直到讀會為止。接下來，我們又來到了零食區(qū)，看到各種各樣的零食，有少數(shù)的我能用英語說出來，但很多都不會。曾老師指著牛肉干問：“what＇＇s this?”我還沒想出來。一個同學(xué)搶先說到：“beef jerk”“對，就是‘beef jerk’。”曾老師聽了他的回答后，肯定道。這時，曾老師又指著餅干問：“what＇＇s this?”這個我知道，就立刻舉起手，搶先說道：“cookice”。曾老師向我翹起了大拇指。隨后，我們又去了肉類區(qū)、面包區(qū)……我們復(fù)習(xí)和認(rèn)識了很多英語單詞。
