　　The Spring Festival usually in January or February.Before the Spring Festival,People prepare delicious food.They also clean and decorate their homes.They usually buy some new clothes before the Spring Festival.On the Eve of the Spring Festival,the family all get together for a big dinner.Many people like to watch Spring Festival gala on New Year's eve.On the First Day of the Spring Festival,Children put on their new clothes.They also go to greet parents.They are very happy to get lucky money from their parents.

　　in china, the spring festival is the most important holiday. it’s just like christmas day in western countries. people like eating, drinking and playing “majiang”. they enjoy going to movies and temple fairs as well as visiting relatives and friends. in china, people like to set off firecrackers but now in some big cities it’s not allowed because it’s too dangerous. on the first day of spring festival, children wear new clothes and their parents give them some money.

　　in the morning i get up early and go into my parents bedroom calling out“happy new year.” after that, they give me a “hongbao”. this money is given to children for good luck. i can use it to buy lots of my favorite things. then my family goes to visit our relatives and friends.

　　Chinese Spring Festival celebrates the end of winter and the warmth of spring . It begins on the last day of the lunar year , ends in the 15th day of lunar new year , and is also the Lantern Festival .

　　Several days before the new year , people begin to prepare . Farmers kill pigs , sheep , cocks and hens . City dwellers buy meat , fish and vegetables . Houses are cleaned .

　　During the Spring Festival people use red lantern and couplets to decorate a house . They put on all kinds of colored colthes . Most people often visit friends and relatives of together , and eat dumplings , fish , meat and other delicious food .

　　The children are looking forward to receiving red envelope money , so am I . I often play with my friends and set off fireworks . There are dragon and lion dances and some other carnival activities . I like watching these shows very much .
