我家有一只可愛的小烏龜。那還是我10歲生日小姑從爸爸那里得知我喜歡小動(dòng)物，便送了我一只稀罕物——小烏龜。
小烏龜托著一副有大又重的龜殼，四肢玲瓏嬌小的腳時(shí)伸時(shí)縮，一雙小小的眼睛整天不停地轉(zhuǎn)。
小烏龜十分貪吃。每天吃飯要按時(shí)定點(diǎn)吃飯，每頓飯還必須吃瘦肉，如果哪一天的哪一頓沒有給它吃肉，它就會(huì)大發(fā)雷霆，把魚缸中的水撲騰到哪里都是。所以我天天準(zhǔn)時(shí)去喂它，早晨六點(diǎn)半要為一塊小瘦肉，中午十二點(diǎn)半三塊瘦肉，下午六點(diǎn)半二塊瘦肉，在我的精心呵護(hù)下，小烏龜漸漸的長大了長得壯實(shí)了。
昨天爸爸媽媽帶我去了動(dòng)物園，我便把作息表改成早上7：00起床，自然喂小烏龜就改到7：10分了。渾身疲憊的我勞累地一覺就睡到了大天亮，正睡著香呢，突然，只聽見一聲“咣當(dāng)”。呀!我的頭，我坐了起來,看了一眼表“天啊!”到時(shí)間該喂小烏龜了，我向魚缸里一瞧，小烏龜呢?我四處打量了一下，原來小烏龜正在我床上散步呢!敢情小烏龜餓了，它竟然從魚缸里爬了出來，砸在我頭上向我抗議呢!
從此以后，我想我可不敢再晚喂小烏龜了，可愛的小烏龜呀!你說說我是喜歡你呢，還是討厭你呢?

Dolphins are very clever. People often train them so that they can give a dolphin show which brings people a lot of happiness and joy.
Unluckily, the number of dolphins is getting smaller and smaller. Because of water pollution, there is less and less space for dolphins. Many people make money by hunting dlphins. If we don’t protect them, maybe we’ll lose our good friends one day. As a student, I hope more and more people should take actions to protect dolphins.

There is no denying the fact that keeping pets is a hotly debated topic today. Some people claim that keeping pets is a good thing to do. They believe that pets, like cats and dogs, can help relieve the loneliness suffered by senior citizens and other social members who are confined to their homes for this reason or that. They also argue that keeping pets helps mankind understand animals' world and develop positive feelings toward them.
有一個(gè)不可否認(rèn)的事實(shí)，即養(yǎng)寵物是當(dāng)今一個(gè)被熱烈討論的話題。有的人認(rèn)為養(yǎng)寵物是一件好事。他們認(rèn)為寵物，比如貓和狗，有助于緩解年長者和那些由于這樣那樣的.家庭原因限制的社會(huì)成員的孤獨(dú)感。他們還認(rèn)為，養(yǎng)寵物有助于人類了解動(dòng)物世界，培養(yǎng)對(duì)它們的積極態(tài)度。
Others, however, hold the opposite view. They regard keeping pets as a useless but harmful thing to do. Firstly, pets can transmit diseases. Secondly, the noises and dung of pets are sources of pollution. Last but not least, as many rare birds and animals are kept as pets, they will surely be hunted on a large scale, which means a threat to the balance of the ecosystem.
然而，其他人持相反觀點(diǎn)。他把養(yǎng)寵物當(dāng)做是無用而且有害的事。首先，寵物可以傳播疾病。其次，噪音和寵物糞便是污染的來源。最后，許多珍禽異獸作為寵物飼養(yǎng)，他們一定會(huì)被大規(guī)模獵殺，這意味著威脅到生態(tài)系統(tǒng)的平衡。
Weighing the arguments of both sides, I am inclined to agree with the latter. Anyway, we can lessen our loneliness and express our love toward animals in other ways. And it is my beliefs that only by placing man and other species on an equal basis can us expect to have a lively and colorful world.
權(quán)衡雙方的論據(jù)，我更傾向于同意后者。不管怎么樣，我們可以通過其他方式來減少我們的孤獨(dú)和向動(dòng)物表達(dá)我們的愛心。我相信，只有在人類和其他物種平等的基礎(chǔ)上，我們才能期待有一個(gè)生動(dòng)多彩的世界。
